CDS 2 2021 Selection Procedure: CDS follows a three-stage recruitment process it consists of:

  • Written Test
  • SSB Interview
  • Medical Examination

CDS 2 2021 Examination Pattern: UPSC follows a standard and very transparent manner to conduct the CDS 2 2021 examination. The written examination consists of the below subjects:

Announcement: The Union Public Service Commission has released an important notification regarding the CDS-2 examination. It is expected that the notification for the UPSC Combined Defense Services test will be released on August 4. Candidates studying for the UPSC CDS Exam would be pleased to hear that there is a job available (UPSC CDS-2 2021). Candidates will be able to submit their applications until August 24, 2021. Meanwhile, on November 14, 2021, the UPSC has scheduled the CDS (2) examination to be held in New Delhi. The CDS exam is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) at the Indian Military Academy in Dehradun for admission to the Indian Naval Academy in Ezhimala, the Air Force Academy in Hyderabad, the Officers Training Academy in Chennai, and the Officers Training Academy in Dehradun. During the month of October 2020, the notice for the first CDS test of the year 2021 was released.


Candidates with a graduation degree or equivalent education from a recognised institution are eligible to apply for the Indian Military Academy, according to the recruitment notification published for the UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) CDS test in the year 2020. At the same time, a degree in engineering is required for admission to the Indian Naval Academy, and a graduate or graduation in engineering with Mathematics and Physics as courses at the 10+2 level is required for admission to the Air Force Academy.
