Windows 10 is automatically updating to May 2021 Update as part of artificial intelligence training

On May 18, Microsoft announced by surprise that Windows 10 May 2021 Update was now available for download on certain devices. Also, at that time, the little big update from the first quarter was only installed on the computers of what they call seekers, namely, users actively looking to upgrade the system no matter what.

Now, Microsoft, as we have learned from Bleeping Computer, has started to automatically update some computers as part of a machine learning training, which many experts and companies frame within artificial intelligence.

From Windows 10 2004 to Windows 10 May 2021 Update 21H1 without noticing anything

According to Microsoft, with this training, which they will continue to do in the future, they are able to improve the deployments of large versions of Windows, so that the update experience is more fluid. It remains to be seen how this affects the deployment of Windows 10 Sun Valley or the possible Windows 11.

The company also mentions that it follows limiting the general deployment of Windows 10 21H1, to make sure the download continues to work properly. In that sense, Microsoft has not reported major problems with this version, and today it has recognized sound and Furigama problems (for Japanese reading) that have already been mitigated.

Ml Microsoft

The use of machine learning was already announced in 2019, when the company reported what it contributed in a quite graphical way. As contributed from Redmond, with installations served in this way significantly reduced the number of subsequent uninstallations, because users noticed fewer problems.
