If you are one of the 15 million users of Bizum, the mobile payment solution of the Spanish bank that does not stop gaining followers, and also you have the BBVA application on your Android mobile or on your iPhone, now you can make payments directly from apps like WhatsApp or Telegram.
All you have to do is have the latest version of the BBVA app for iOS or Android and you can send money online to your friends from any messaging app. At BBVA they say that it is "as easy as sending an emoji", and this is because the function activates a new keyboard on your device: the BBVA keyboard.
How to send money through Bizum from Telegram or WhatsApp
It actually works from any messaging app, because the new function is linked to a keyboard. This means that in order to enjoy it you must activate the BBVA keyboard on your iPhone or Android mobile.
The first thing you need to do is enter the BBVA app and click on Bizum in the drop-down menu. Once there, you must activate BBVA Cashup. Then you must activate the new BBVA keyboard. In Android it is done from the language settings, and in iOS you must go to the general settings until you reach the list of keyboards in the "Keyboard" section.
It's not "as easy as sending an emoji," but it comes close. Once that is done, when you are in a conversation with a friend you just have to press the button to change the keyboard and choose BBVA Keyboard.
This will open a new menu that takes up the space of a keyboard, from where you can send money instantly through Bizum, just by entering a phone number. You can choose contacts directly from those you have in your BBVA phonebook, in your mobile contacts, or write a number.
At no time do you need to exit the messaging app, you don't have to approve anything from the BBVA app, and the only additional step is confirmation via SMS code.
