An equally colorful design and a smoother screen
The The main change we find between the POCO M3 and the POCO M3 Pro has to do with the screen. The new version maintains the 6.5 inch and the resolution Full HD +, but add one refresh rate of 90 hertz, 30 more than in the original version.
Otherwise, the plastic construction, with a back that comes in different colors, including black, blue and the popular yellow which first introduced the POCO M3.
We continue to count on side fingerprint reader, 3.5 mm headphone port and infrared emitter. As a novelty, it includes Gorilla Glass glass It protects the phone screen.
More power and 5G in the "Pro" model
With this new generation, Xiaomi has chosen to integrate a processor signed by MediaTek, more specifically the model Dimensity 700.
The main virtue of this processor is its integrated 5G modem, which gives the device the ability to connect to new types of networks for greater speed.
With respect to POCO M3's Snapdragon 662, we are talking about a significant performance improvement, especially when adding a configuration with 6 GB of RAM.
However, we also find some cuts, such as the reduction in battery capacity, which goes from 6,000 to 5,000 mAh. We have, yes, with 18W fast charge, and Xiaomi ensures that the device is capable of reach two days of use.
The camera also undergoes changes
Even if the POCO M3 Pro has three cameras on the back, exactly the same as the previous model, the type of sensors has changed.
The main camera remains fixed on 48 megapixels. However, the camera with ultra wide angle lens, in favor of a 2 megapixel sensor for macro captures, and another of the same resolution, which allows depth information to be captured.
The LITTLE M3 Pro hits the market at a price starting from 179 euros in its most affordable model, with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage. This are 50 euros morethan the POCO M3 in its basic version.
In return, we get a smartphone with a better quality screen, a more powerful processor and the added value of 5G, but details such as the 1,000 mAh extra battery capacity wave camera with ultra wide angle lens.
Do not forget that the POCO M3 Pro 5G is exactly the same mobile as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 5GOnly the POCO model has a different design on the back. Therefore, if you are thinking of buying the new terminal at the best price, do not rule out the Redmi version, because since it has been on the market for a few more weeks, its price could drop in the coming weeks, before the price of the model with the POCO stamp does.
