Almost 10 years after its launch, about 200,000 people still use a Xiaomi Mi 2

Adopting animals is now easier thanks to this Spanish app

AdoptaMe is a Spanish application that, despite having only been in the Play Store for a few weeks, has already accumulated more than 10,000 downloads and is being shared a lot on social networks. It is an initiative to give visibility to animals for adoption.

We are going to tell you how the platform works, what you can do with the application and why we thought it was a good initiative. At the moment the app is only available on Android, where you can download it for free.

Why social networks help animal adoption but also complicate it: this is what it is like to wear a shelter in the Internet age

AdoptaMe is an application weighing only seven megabytes, compatible with Android 8 and higher and with more than 10,000 downloads. It is a completely free app and has no advertising, two points in favor.

AdoptaMe needs registration to be able to use it. Just email to log in in seconds

You need to create an account to start using it. The email that we enter will be the contact form that the protectors will have. Within our profile section we can include a description of up to 1,000 characters, which will help the protectors to know a little more about us.

At the time of registration we can do it as a protector or as an adopter. In the event that we are adopters, when we open the app we will have a huge list with the different animals that are up for adoption. Within the search engine we can filter by province, race and others.

Animals In Adoption Adopt Me Sheets of the different animals for adoption.

Each animal has its own card, indicating its name, race, small description, time and province in which it is found. If we click on the animal's file, we will find information provided by the protector, how to contact her and even request the adoption from the application. After doing so, the protector will contact us.

In short, a good free initiative so that users can easily access information on the adoption of different protections, all in one application that brings everything together.
