This new feature will allow you to always record calls from telephone companies.
Although most of the time we use our smartphone to surf the internet and interact on social media, do not forget that its original use is to make and receive voice calls, for which most of us use the application Google Phone, which has just been updated with a new function that will allow us automatically record calls from unknown numbers.
Automatically record calls from numbers that are not in your phonebook with the Google Phone application
Thanks to the guys at XDA-Developers, who echo a tweet posted by the tipster Yash reddi, we have learned that some users of the Google Phone application already enjoy automatic recording of calls received from an unknown number, a feature that we started to hear about at the beginning of the year and that is really useful for recording the calls we receive daily from the telephone companies.
Yash Reddi has shared in the aforementioned tweet some screenshots of this new feature working on a Xiaomi Mi A3, where we can see a new section within the app called Call recording, in which we will see two sections: Always record and Recordings.
From the first of them we can activate automatic recording of calls from unknown numbers and also, manually select the phone numbers that are not in our directory from which we want to record their calls. For its part, in the second section we can configure how often recordings will be deleted, being able to select that they are not deleted never.
Once we click on the option to activate this automatic call recording, a warning message will appear that we must accept by clicking on Always record.
Keep in mind that the Phone app is one of the Google applications that it does not have all its functions enabled in Spain and one of them is precisely the recording of calls, with which we will have to wait for the American giant release this functionality for the European market.
