This technology also manages to improve the signal-to-noise ratio, which translates into a lower background noise when streaming audio.
Furthermore, aptX HD technology has been developed with a Lower Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) to enjoy music with little interference. Ultimately, the aptX HD compression algorithm enables better quality wireless audio transmission, with less background noise and less interference than aptX technology.
