This Netflix blog post has been written by the film's director himself, Aaron Sorkin, which explains that his film is screened for free for commemorate the anniversary of the verdict of this historic trial and extolled the people represented in it as the true patriots who inspired a generation.
This film revolves around the so-called Chicago 7, a group of protesters opposed to the Vietnam War, charged with conspiracy to cross state lines with the intention of causing riots in the 1968 Democratic National Convention in Chicago.
