To recover deleted content of a Samsung mobile, you will have to use the recycle bin tool to which the images and videos deleted from the gallery go.

This bin is present in all Samsung Galaxy phones with an Android version equal to or greater than Android 9 Pie.

If this requirement is met, the steps to follow to recover images or videos are as follows:

  1. Open the gallery application of your mobile.
  2. Tap the menu icon in the lower right, represented by three dots. On some older mobiles, this menu could be located in the lower right corner of the screen.
  3. Access the "Trash" section.
  4. You will see all the deleted images and videos. Tap on the image or video you want to recover, or long press to choose multiple images and videos.
  5. To finish, touch the "Restore" button and wait for the process to finish.

It is worth bearing in mind that the recycling bin of Samsung mobiles only store content for 30 days, and permanently deletes all those images and videos that have been sent to the trash once that limit has been exceeded.
