We will be able to test more than 500 video game demos at the next Steam Games Festival

The next Steam Game Festival will be in February and will allow us to try more than 500 video game demos of future releases that will arrive on the platform for free. The event will take place from February 3-9, 2021 from 7:00 p.m. in Spain.

During the festival week, developers from all over the world will be showing their demos live via streaming and we will be able to chat with them about the games they are developing, in addition to testing the video games presented on our own.

Valve will also participate in the festival

Valve itself will be participating in the event during the first day, with a presentation in which your team will play some of the demos that are being offered. You will be able to see this from the event page when it starts at 7:00 p.m. in Spain.

From the Steam app you can create a reminder, and if you do not do it but enter the platform during those days, it will be difficult for you to miss it, since it will be announced all week as soon as you log in.

The Steam Games Festival is already a tradition that began in 2020 and that has been held on multiple occasions, and that especially during the year of the pandemic that has seen so many face-to-face events canceled or postponed, has significantly increased the number of demos submitted.

Linux gaming is not what it used to be: in less than two years Proton and Steam Play have brought us more than 6500 games

Steam users They will have the entire week of the festival to download and play unlimitedly all the available demos, but at the end of those seven days the games will no longer be available. It's a great way to take a look at the titles that interest you the most to see if they're worth buying in the future, or to discover exciting new games without having to invest money in them.
