A new cheap tablet heads to the Android ecosystem: the TCL Tab 10S is now official. Large screen, stereo speakers, perfect for children to use to study and is also very valid as a multimedia support.
What a flurry of electronics TCL has unveiled at this year's virtual CES - the TCL 20 SE and TCL 20 5G are on their way to showcase. And not only has it renewed its range of smartphones, the Chinese manufacturer has decided strengthen its commitment to tablets. The simplest of them is already official: the TCL Tab 10S It is not a bad option for those who do not need too powerful hardware.

Basic tablet with a large screen as a distinctive element
We cannot expect great displays from the TCL Tab 10S, even though it is not an excessively simple tablet either: the device remains in the mid-range line while offering unusual details in tablets in this segment; as stereo speakers, option to 4G or a 8,000 mAh battery. Of course, charging that battery can take up to four hours since the included charger is 18 W.
In the field of processing we knocked out with a SoC something fair: MediaTek powers the TCL Tab 10S with the MT8768. At his side we can choose between 3 or 4 GB of RAM and 32 or 64 GB of storage; without forgetting the option to SD card, a relief for those who wish to upload their entire multimedia collection to the tablet.
The TCL Tab 10S is a tablet with a generous screen: this amounts to 10.1 inches. Also generous frames, sleek build and off-screen camera: 5 megapixels for the front sensor; with another 8 megapixel for the back side.
In terms of software it does not stand out too much either since the TCL Tab 10S stays on Android 10 starting. It offers keyboard compatibility thanks to its magnetic POGO connector, a touch pen, the TCL T-Pen, can also be used. This is not included.
TCL Tab 10S price and availability
The tablet has just been announced at CES and will be available in most markets from March 2021, including Spanish. Its price is 199 euros for WiFi only version and 249 euros for the model with 4G LTE connectivity.
