3 reasons for its success

Typefully will prevent us from "getting sucked into our timeline"

Fabrizio Rinaldi is one of the creators of Mailbrew, a tool that we talked about a few months ago and that allows us to pack our preferred sources of information and receive them as a newsletter.

The Mailbrew team now presents us with a new service: Typefully, which invites us to use Twitter in a different way and much more focused on what we are writing.

Drafts, schedule tweets and "focus" mode

Rinaldi assures that he has always been an avid Twitter user, and thanks to this platform he was able to meet the co-founder of his company (@frankdilo). He claims that Twitter is an inexhaustible source of ideas and knowledge, but it is also a place where you can end up completely distracted.

It was then that he came up with the idea of creating an application that would give life to tweets and Twitter threads "without being absorbed by our timeline". From that idea Typefully was born, "a distraction-free writing interface for Twitter".

Typefully and Spotify Premium

As expected, the design couldn't be more minimalist. First of all, it will be necessary to grant the necessary permissions if we want to publish tweets from our account using this web app.

The pandemic was the “opportunity” that streaming greats had to change cinema, and they are taking advantage of it

Typefully removes all the visual and interaction aspects of Twitter, so we can fully focus on the typing experience. We can create multiple drafts and prepare entire threads.

Typefully Write Publish Great Tweets Without Distractions Product Hunt

If we press Cmd + Enter a full screen mode will be activated which makes the sidebars disappear and invites us to focus even more on writing. Another positive point is that we can even schedule tweets or threads to be published automatically at a certain date and time.

Remember that this is the first version of this tool, so we will surely see more features in the near future. For now, it may already be a perfect solution for those who need a way to use this social network and at the same time avoid distractions.
