Clubhouse officially lands on Android

an app to create frame-by-frame animations and storyboards

The folks at Kdan Mobile just released Animation Desk for Windows, their cross-platform animation app which is also available on macOS, iOS, and Android. Animation Desk offers a simple drawing environment to draw your own frame-by-frame animations or build storyboards.

The new version for Windows 10 is available in the Microsoft Store for free and it also has a trial period for its paid version that you can start as soon as you install the application on your computer.

Among the main features of Animation Desk are:

  • 25 kinds of brushes with various patterns, eraser and painting tool.

  • Adjustable brush size and color opacity.

  • Adjustable HSV scheme and infinite space to save your favorite colors in each sequence.

  • Import images and video as background.

  • Creation of multiple levels of animation in a scene.

  • Surface Dial compatibility.

  • Rulers, quadrilateral, ellipse, triangle, protractor.

  • Add sound effects to your animation.

Animation Desk

The app can be used to create pencil animations and sketches. Offers Multiple export options, either as Photoshop layers, PDF sheets or large GIFs.

You can also continue editing an animation across multiple devices, whether on Android, iOS, macOS, and Windows 10, as long as you have a paid license.

You can use Animation Desk for free quite limited. You only have 500MB of cloud storage space, you can only use four brush strokes, one background and three layers, a single storyboard, and you only have line rulers.

You can pay an annual subscription plan that costs 59.99 euros, a quarterly plan of 6.99 euros per month. As well offer a permanent license for 64.99 euros.
