The hypothetical Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 says yes to the S-Pen, but it will not arrive integrated

The Samsung Galaxy A70 begins to update to One UI 2.5 with improvements in the keyboard, camera, AOD and more

After doing the same in the Samsung Galaxy A50s a few days ago, now the update to One UI 2.5 reaches another terminal in the series: the Samsung Galaxy A70. The upgrade to One UI 2.5 has started rolling out already in Europe, starting with Ukraine.

This update is still based on Android 10, but with the November security patch and the new features of the One UI 2.5 layer, such as keyboard themes, support for Bitmoji stickers in AOD mode or the emergency function in the message app.

New One UI, same Android

The Samsung Galaxy A70 was launched in March 2019 with Android 9 Pie pre-installed and about a year later it received the update to Android 10 from the hand of One UI 2.0. Now, the Samsung layer is updated with the news of One UI 2.5, although the version of Android 10 is maintained.

Samsung has a plan to win the mid-range and it is not to be the cheapest

However, the normal thing would be that the terminal receives two updates and, therefore, receives the update with One UI 3.0 and Android 11 later, which fits with the list of Samsung phones that would be updated that were leaked a few days ago.

As for the update in question, it is firmware A705FNXXU5CTK4, with a size of 1421 MB and the November security patch included. Deployment begins in Ukraine for SM-A705FNAlthough it would be normal for it to spread to other countries in the coming weeks.

Between the news In this version you will find more information about Wi-Fi networks, support for gestures in any launcher, themes for the keyboard, support for Bitmojis in AOD mode, improvements in the camera or the possibility of sharing your location in case from the message app.

As always, the easiest way to know if the update is available for your mobile is to go to the Settings section - Software update to check for updates. The most impatient and daring can also try to flash the ROM with Odin at their own risk and as long as they have the same model (SM-A705FN).
